Last Saturday, I woke up in the morning with a lovely message from my sister about the Retro Market happening next to Queen Vic. Retro Market offered $10 vintage tee’s, dresses, jackets and accessories from all around the world. With a beautiful sunny day, I decided to make it a leisurely day out.

The Retro Market was held in a small 2nd level warehouse space and it didn’t have a stallholder set-up as such. But for their first market day, the room was packed with keen bargain hunters beating the next person to a key find. Trawling hanger after hanger I wasn’t lucky enough to find myself a new spring piece. But nonetheless, it was a nice concept and their branding couldn’t get past me. I am sure I will see more of Retro Market and I do look forward to seeing it grow!

Nonetheless, the day was filled with conversations, smoothies, puppies, coffee, fashion and the great feeling of sun on my skin. It’s springtime Troops, so bring on the springtime fashion!
