Make-up Inspiration; An outfit for ‘Wilderness’ – Gold leaf, Feathers and a ‘BOUTIN’ piece

FRIDAY NIGHT’S TRAPPED IN THE ZOO PARTY HAD A DRESSCODE OF ‘ELEGANCE WITH A TOUCH OF WILDNERNESS’. Naturally, with usual colourful make-up, I decided to go as a peacock/bird/parrot of the sort and improvise on feathers and coloured eyeshadow. Funnily enough I checked my little box of crafts and found the gold leaf I had leftover from my 21st birthday last year. I guess this is another example of how I dare not stay away from bright colours over winter. :) The leather bolero I’m wearing is a part of Boutin collection (click on the link to see the shoot I did for his latest collection last year). Micah is a close friend of mine and I’ve been dying to wear something from his collection. But being a naturally curvy girl and sample pieces simply being size 6′s and below, I haven’t had the chance yet – til now. The high collar simply gets me, the detailing and cut shows tremendous attention to detail. I’m already salivating for more!
