Mister Mode Fashion Night Market Summer Event: The photos, the shopping, the music, the drinks and the unforgettable.

LAST SATURDAY NIGHT proved to be one of the best nights out if you wanted to mix Fashion, Music, Drinking and Friends all in one. The Mister Mode Fashion Night Market Summer event was held at Oak Place warehouse, South Yarra from 6pm til midnight. Despite the typical sudden Melbourne rain, the devoted fashion lovers and keen-spirit  looking for something different made it down to Mister Mode to not only discover, but be tantily impressed with what we had to offer – A True Fashion Experience Not To Forget.

Attendees were welcomed in through the opened wide shutter doors to a warehouse lit with bright coloured graffiti and the acoustic sounds of Melbourne’s local talent. The room was robust with life, with people eagerly trying to find the ultimate bargain. Within the first 45 minutes, the room was full of Mister Mode shopping bags! – A keepsake trinket that we provide for all our Mister Mode attendees.

As the warmth of the night swept through the room, attendees were pleasantly greeted with 28Black girls who supplied a icy cold energy drink to hype out our nights. Also, to those who joined our promo – we handed out Rekorderlig Cider to refresh, replenish, and revitalize our keen Mode troopers.

A new element that we introduced to our Fashion Night Market was the live music! We had solo act Davy Simony, Rock Blues trio The Ugly Kings, Powerhouse vocalist & Up and coming artist Laura Loe, and the funkiest funk cats in town, the Kujo Kings.  Not only did the attendees enjoyed it, but also the stallholders. It created a new level of creative atmosphere with talents ranging from blues, pop, rock as well as funk and jazz. And to end the night, we had DJ Adri Guyot from France, spin us some sexy electro house beats that even got my pulling out a move or two - this seriously was a market like no other.

SO A GREAT BIG SHOUT OUT to the Mode troops who made this THE place to be on Saturday night and also to be able to experience the BEST Mister Mode Fashion Night Market to date.  Thanks to the stallholders for providing the a great variety of fashion, to our sponsors Rekorderlig Cider and 28 Black, The Australian Red Cross charity in supporting us support them, to the Ko-op boys for the venue and hospitality, to our talented musicians, to our superstar DJ – Adri Guyot, the best photographers Meagen & Jesse, to my Mode sergeants who has helped make this possible, and last but not least, to YOU my Mode troopers – to whom with your love, belief and dire love for creativity, has helped create my Mister Mode  dream come true.

Happy Summer everyone! I am planning for a return in 2012 with more fashion, more music, and more surprises! So please, when we announce our next event – lock in the date and ignore Melbourne’s weather, because this is one event you do NOT want to miss.

And really, the photos will say it all ;)
