The Cobra Snake is LA’s most prominent party photographer whom travels the world and snaps photographs with the likes of Karl Lagerfeld, Agness Dynn and Samantha Ronson.

This is one man who made lifestyle and party photography the next big thing in this 21st century, so to have him present at a Melbourne Party is well…. a big thing.

So when my dear friend Gwenda told me that he had entered Miss Libertines that night for the Cant Say party, I decided to approach Mark Hunter and have a chat to the legend himself. Never thought I could be so scared going up to someone! But to a man of that calibre, I really did not know if he was going to snob me off and be polite. Well, it was truly a ‘now or never’ moment and I was not going to walk away from this.

He ended up being very intrigued by my red hair, as he snapped a photo of myself (or several, all i can remember was flashes of light). We dwelved into an 10 minute conversation involving a fairly thick american accent and my curiosity of what brought him to Melbourne. I told him about the upcoming Mister Mode and sadly, he was only in town for 3 days.

So if he were ever to come back for future visits and coincidentally finds himself in Melbourne during Mister Mode, I can assure you (or try my best to) have him at Mister Mode so we can all gape at the amazing photographer legend as well as have amazing photos for the night!
